| arbing and sites limiting your capacity to make wagers: working with bettor-paradise | Hi guys,
I am an experienced arber, having been in the game for about 2.5 years. First a side whinge regarding the account extensions. There are many sites I had already signed up to before coming accross this site, sucks to be me for extending my account for free. Can I please get a discounted extension for the acounts i currently have? I will continue to sign up to future sites you add which ensures you get your bonuses from those sites.
My main issue surrounds your ability to offer account increases whilst having links with sites that don't like arbers. I feel it is somewhat naive to think you can sign up with your service, have the accounts checked at sites like unibet, betsafe, admiralbet, bluesquar etc without them putting masssive inhibitors on your account. If they know you are an arb site, and that the clients who are signing up are arbers, how can you expect people to continue to have accounts that are useful. money is going to be deposited, and then not be able to be used for arbing for those who aren't aware of how the game is played.

| wrong odds at jetbull and 188bet | i noticed several times that the odds at 2 bookmakers are not right. i look the site and when an ard appears i search the prices and usually at 2 books are not the same. why is that?
and one more thing, i read the forum and i noticed that some of the books are not reliable and have problems with payout and th limits. if reported some things that are bad for the books should you exclude them for the site? i think you should make a list with books are very reliable so we are not losing our money if the reported things are truth. we all users and admins should work together to make a list of reliable bookmakers.

| 1 Day left, is there any point in getting more? | Bettor-paradise has really gone downhill over the last couple of months and half the time im on here there is hardly an arb in sight, and what there is has been lacking in quality and %. Ive been using a couple of other arb services along side (equivalent in price/free signups) and theyre just so much more effective, right now there are 4 arbs on here and on a rival there are 4 between pinnacle, ladbrokes and 188 alone. Thought I would share my experiences with 10bet because, well, they are a bit shit.
They have an enticing welcome bonus but what they don't broadcast is that the bonus amount needs to be wagered 10 times at odd of 2.0 or greater before they pay. In otherwords, you need to be on the hot streak of a lifetime to win from it.
The other hidden sneaky bit of this is that you are required to wager your deposit 3 times before you can withdraw any cash otherwise they can charge you an upto 8% admin fee. So, if like me you see potential $$$ in their sign up bonus and deposit 500 bucks in there then know that the money could be tied up for a long time with a relatively low chance of making anything off their promo.
They also charge you for making deposits!!!

| bet7days | I am new to all this and probably very naive and making lots of mistakes!
However, I have had a problem with bet7days, who have frozen my brand new account after only 1 bet after betting 30 euros on Germany to beat Ghana on Wednesday (Asian Handicap -0.5 @ odds of 2.5). I won 75 euros, only for them to cancel the bet 12 hours after the event after the winnings were in my account, and now they have amended my account history to make it look like they cancelled the bet at 6pm on Wednesday before the game instead of 7am the morning after. I was wondering if you guys used the 3 way bets here were you bet on virtual draw no bet at Pinnacle. I.e. some amount on draw and also some amount on Team 1 to win a soccer game.

| BOOKMAKERS RULES FOR EXTRA TIME AND PENALTIES IN CUP MATCHES | I am new to arbitrage trading and have noted how the different tennis betting rules can cause problems.
However, no one mentions football and the possibility that bookmakers may have different rules when it comes to extra time and penalties.
Are all the rules the same and therefore not a problem?
Or are there differences which could cause problems in cup matches.

| To arb or not to arb......That is the question? | Hi all, first of all I'd like to let you know that I'm not fishing for any of your secrets, You work hard so you keep em :-) I just wanna tell you about my last month or so as a newbie thinking about beginning to arb.
I only have £2000 to play with so was thinking of depositing £100 in about 15 bookmakers and keeping £500 top up fund in moneybookers.
I was hoping to make about 6 3% arbs per day of a £100 limit per arb (not sure if that was realistic as not sure how many arb opportunities present themselves per day also spreading my bankroll very thin so could have a few days of innactivity).
I read lots of blogs and watched a few tutorial videos thinking to myself what have I got to lose its risk free right.
Or so I thought untill I came upon your forum.
It sounds like to me that you can do all your calculations, place your bets locking in your profit and then everything after that which you have no control over is a risk... a major risk.
Are there truly that many horror stories or am I being paranoid?

| Calculating | Hi everybody,
I have thought about another approach to calculate the size of the bets and the return and it seems to give better results.
The idea is that the amount of money returned should be the same in any case. I have named the odds a,b and c and the stacks of money x,y and z.
Example: a simple 1X2-bet:
In case you win, the return is a*x.
In case of a draw, the return is b*y.
In case you lose, the return is c*z.
The return should always be the same, so a*x = b*y = c*z.
The stacks of money add up to 1 (100%): x + y + z = 1;
I don't know exactly, why the results of my method and the one of bettor-paradise.com differ, ideas are appreciated.

| BESTAKE.COM WARNING | I have been waiting for a withdrawel request for 2000 Euro to clear and logged in to check if anything had happened.
There was a link in blue in the centre of the "My account" page which read: "Express Withdraw - Show me the money." This blue hyperlink was not remotely similar to the regular "Place Bet" button used for submitting wagers.
I clicked it the link, expecting more information, and suddenly my account balance is zero (was 3083.88 Euro) and I have 6 matched bets for upcoming world cup games randomly selected. There is no way most of them are winners, nor would I have chosen any of them.
Still confused, I look at the rules and find this...

| Limit-limit-limit Bet 365 | After 20 day betting at 365 they limit me. Once I've requested higher than their BetMax stake (send stake for manual review) thay limit my account immediately with max of few dollars stakes.
Next morning I received email notifying that my account is *identified* as like making *significant profitability* (lol) from their bonus offers (I've eat just free 5$ bonus last week).
If your account is still live at 365 I reccommend you never take their bonuses and never send bigger than BetMax stakes for manual review.

| Bookmaker odds not available | We often have the question of a bookmaker odds not available, and why etc.
We can't guarantee that odds of a given bookmaker are always available, although we do our best to have them. Most of the time this is due to restrictions/problems/changes at the bookmaker.
For example, stanjames odds are currently not available. This is because the date of each event published is incorrect.
Betway is also not available, because there are no odds.
Last week Betway changed the way they published odds, so we had to modify the way we extract them.
The week before, access to bet7days was not accessible and we have to change the address used.
Last week jetbull changed too etc etc.
Not to mention bet365..

In fact, the quotes 8.00 and 4,75 are for the regular Team one and Draw result.

| from concept to reality? | Hi all,
I have read lots of info (Sports Arbitrage Guide.com particularly good!), and have done a bit of spreedsheet modelling to see whether the '10% of bankroll/month' can be achieved, and the conclusion I have come to is that it requires c. 16 trades/week.
The main issue is that splitting your bankroll - say across 15 bookies and keeping 25% in reserve only allows a £500/bookie deposit. Assuming that the total value of an arbitrage is say £500, and the average profit is 3%, it requires a steady 16 arbs/week to make 10% ROI on the bankroll.
Does 16/week across just 15 bookies look like a realistic amount. It feels quite alot, but then i am a newbie!
Here are my numbers.....some are inputs and some are calculated - do let me know if you think i should adjust any of the inputs. If you want the spreadsheet (which is v.v.v. simple) then PM me.
Initial Bankroll £10,000
Number Bookmakers 15
% Retained Bankroll 25%
Deposit/bookemaker £500
Arbs/week 16
Arb ROI 3%
Average Arb value £500
Profit/arb £15
Profit/month £960
Bankroll ROI 10%
This doesn't take into account any possible losses through covering palps and being limited by bookies!
What do the more experienced think - am I being pessimistic, optimistic or realistic? Would 16 reasonable Arbs across 15 bookies per week really come up?
Hopefully this wont be shot down as a typical newbie question!!!!!!!!!!!

| New to Arbing | Hi, I have started to investigate arbing as an opportunity and have read lots of very useful stuff about managing risk etc.
I have one vital question though - why do bookmakers not subscribe to the alert services and adjust any odds when they see themselves slightly out of kilter with the rest of the market?
If they did this, they would be slightly more profitable, plus arbing would cease to be a viable option.
I would be interested in peoples thoughts on this?

I've found that Betfair (or maybe other exchanges) which has a winning commission (5%), in the surebet's stakes calculator window (same wrong % is shown in Arbitrages page) gives a higher % profit with actually lower odds - due 5% or any other commission is not reduced (for Betfair). | Some suggestions. | 1. The countdown minutes till start of the event is missing. It would be nice if a customer could set up the time zone in the account profile.
2. VDNB bets - the calculator should have an opption that will return profit in any outcome. Also on X. It is possible now if you do a manual calculation and bet on X little higher amount.
3. The age of an arb is useful thing too.
4. Filters to define the highest % of an arb. It is nonsense to get the arbs of 50 %, they are all palps.
5. Rules. It would be useful if you open the thread here on forum or in the help section and tell which types and sports do you cover, and arbs are only showen with matched rules.
6. The odd that is causing the arb could be marked, so punters would know wich odd to cover first.
Here are some suggestions, that i find maybe to think about them. Anyway your service is great and beats down many expensive "pro" services. | Incorrect Arb for tennis | There is problem for arb on tennis between 10bet and pinnacle.
Error was in last Sunday [Nadal] vs [Murray], and I see it similar yesterday.
On 10bet Nadal +1.5 was 2.78 but that was SET Handicap.
On pinnacle Murray +1.5 was 1.93 but that was Game Handicap.
This is not arbitrage at all, because it is not same market.

| clarification about this arb | HI guys, i was going to put in an arb on o/u 2.25 between pinnacle and goldbet with pinnacle offering 2.02 on over 2 and 2.5 at 2.02 and goldbet offering under 2.25 at 2.01, but in the drop down menu for pinnacle it stated over 2.5 at 2.28
I assume this would be a better option as it brings 7% returns rather than the 0.744% and i can't see how it isn't the same bet as you can't actually score 2.25 goals, it is either 2 or 3 (or any other whole number)> Please let me know if i have this correct.
