Welcome to our first newsletter!

We are really happy to have you onboard and we are very excited with this first newsletter!

Thanks to this newsletter we hope to be able to provide you with all information we think you might need. So it means leting you know what we have recently done, what we are planning to do, what's new at the bookmakers AND AN EXCELLENT PROPOSITION from our partner Turfez.com (see below). So let's starts with the past..

Obviously the newsletter is new! It took sometime to set it up so other parts of the site haven't changed much during that time. But this is over and now we can concentrate on other tasks.

So appart from that, you have probably noticed that in the past few month there were several major changes like the ability to drill down to the odds for a given surebet, the addition of several new parameters in the filter of surebets, the addition of several bookmakers etc.

What's next?

Very recently we had new agreements with a bunch of new bookmakers, so we should be able to add them soon. The first bookmakers you can expect are Bet7Days.com, ShilBet.com, and SportsAlive.com (formerly Global SportsBet and Sports Acumen).

In addition we would like to deliver an email alert system. What we intend to do, is to let you configure alerts so that you receive notifications when new surebets that involve a given bookmaker (with given odds etc) are found (much like the filter works).

Also we will become more strict about people that are trying to fool us by registering several times with different emails etc. We don't want to get involved with people like that. Also there is no real reason for doing that: there are many ways to get free access to the site and the fee are very low compared to other alert services. So be aware: we already know who does it and final exclusion is on the way for the one that will continue doing this kind of things..

We know there are currently a few problems that need to be corrected. The main one is about time of events that is incorrect (and thus the remaining time). We will correct this asap. Also be aware that we offer free days to people that discover bugs (and let us know).

This would be the ability to get more information on bookmakers; like how many surebets they offer, are they suited for arbitrages, etc.

Tips & Tricks

There are less surebets than before. Is there a problem?

No. The reason is simple. Depending on the period of the year, there are more or less events. There is currently less events, so less surebets. But be sure that as soon as the number of bets will increase, the number of surebets will increase too.

Is there any recommended method to place surebets?

We recommend the following approach.
1. Go to each bookmaker involved.
2. Try to get the limit for each bet at each bookmaker
3. Place the first bet at the bookmaker that is likely to change its odds first. You can know by looking at the offers. If there is only one bookmaker offering good odds for the first bet, and several bookmakers offering good odds for the second bet, start with the first one. If there is none, starts with the bookmaker offering the lowest odds (i.e. the event that is the most likely to happen).

What should I do if odds change between my bets?

Well it depends. If the bet you have done is likely to happen (like odds < 1.1), you can take the risk to live with it, or cover only a part of it. Otherwise we recommend doing a loosing surebet. We know, it's sad, but it is better to loose a few percentage rather than all your money.

The same apply if one of your bet is cancelled.

A few news

Over the past weeks, we've added Bet7Days.com as a new bookmaker. New bookmakers addition is still an important point for us. We thank all of you that sent us messages to ask for support of a given bookmaker. We try as much as possible to support those bookmakers first.

We also added a way to log in automatically by using an URL. To retrieve the link that you have to use, just click the "Password Lost" link on the home page, enter your email and click the validate button. You'll find the link in the email that you will receive.

We've banned a few users/IP addresses that tried to cheat us. If by any chance this would result in your account not being accessible, please contact-us.

What's next?

Should I register ASAP or wait for my subscription to end?

If you wish to use the site for free, we recommend you to sign-up asap. Most of the time duration associated with a subscription are either the same or decrease over the time. In some rare cases however you might have more days in the future.

Whenever we plan to reduce the duration associated to a subscription, we post a message stating so.

Is there any problem letting my subscription expire?

No you can let your subscription expire without any problem. All you have to do is to register at a partner site when you reuse your account.

We are back..

As you are probably aware, we had a major hadware problem with six servers that were out of order. We managed to provide you with surebets, but only a part of them. Finally we are back even if we still have a few things to fix.

Extraction Status

We recently added a page where you can check the extraction status of each bookmaker.

Filter obvious errors

We often have complains of people stating we publish wrong odds. This is true. However, most of the time, this is due to bookmakers not posting odds correctly. Most of the time, it is difficult for a program to detect that odds are incorrect. One easy solution would be to filter arbitrages with a high return. We prefer users to decide either this is incorrect or not. However, we have added a first check in order to limit those incorrect odds. Hope this will give you satisfaction.

Free bets calculator

We have updated this calculator in order to display the name of the bookmakers involved in a virtual bet.

Cross Markets Surebets

New type of bets and surebets

As you have probably notice, we have added new type of bets that are the 3 Way Handicap bets (often known as "Handicap"). Those bets are different from Asian Handicap bets because the Draw is a possibility, although it is adjusted.

We have added new cross markets surebets that are the following:

- Cross markets surebets involving those 3 Way Handicap bets: "3WH Team 1 (+1) / Team 2" and "Team 1 / 3WH Team 2 (+1)". They both are based on the fact that the 3Way Handicap bet on a team with a modifier of +1 is the same as a Double Chance bet on the Team or the Draw. You will win your bet either the team wins or the match ends on a Draw. The funny part is that some bookmakers do not offer the same odds for a Double Chance, an Asian Handicap (+0.5) or a 3WH (+1) bet. Be smart, choose the good one..

- Cross markets surebets involving Asian Handicap bets: "1 - X - AH2(+0.25)" and "1 - X - AH2(-0.25)". Those ones are not so easy to understand, so we've added in the calculator an explanation part that will tell you what you will earn depending on the result of the event. We spent sometimes to setup the environment for those new arbs. But now we hope to be able to add more cross markets arbitrages of this kind.

Money Transfer

We have added a new calculator that helps you to withdraw money from a given bookmaker whenever you just can't (money blocked because of a bonus etc).

The idea is to bet on a loosing bet at the bookmaker where you want to withdraw the money, and make an opposite bet at another bookmaker. In order for this to succeed, the chances to loose your bet at the first bookmaker must be quite high. Note that most of the time, there is a risk of loosing money by doing this transfer.

Alerts Program

We changed the conditions to get access to the alert program. In order to have access to this alert program, you must now have made a minimum number of subscriptions. Details can be found here: alerts program.

Future Changes

Reduction in the number of free days per subscription

On November 16th, we'll reduce the number of free days for some (quite a lot) of the available subscriptions. This of course will only apply to new subscriptions. So you should take advantage of the current offers right now if you can.

Sports Management

We have added the ability to select the sports you are interested in. It means that if you do not want to bet on tennis for example, just remove Tennis from your preferences and you are done!

Tennis Rules Management

Cancellation rules for tennis are now managed. It means that in case of match cancellation, the rules applied should be the same at both bookmakers. However be sure to check yourself has we migth do errors and rules can change over the time.

New URLs

We have changed URLs in order to make them shorter and easier to be read.

Alert Program

The alert program has been enhanced several times. We hope you find it better.

Performance Improvement

We have made several improvements in order to reduce the duation needed to publish arbitrages (including new hardware). Hope it's better now.
